Janine Blackburn

Janine completed the Browne School of Art’s Visual Arts Mentoring Programme in 2021. Her recent move from Tāmaki Makaurau to Port Waikato inspires her with new walks along the eroded surf beach, sand dunes, river and farmland. She is known for her expressive gestural abstraction, vivid colours, and bold contrasts.
